TO LULU
In May 1964 , a dynamic young vocalist shook
the UK with her chart-topping single "Shout",
which temained in the Top 10 for 13 weeks.
Lulu won the hearts of the nation and quickly
followed with numerous hit records, including
" Let's Pretend" ansd "I'm
A Tiger". In March 1969, Lulu won the
Eurovision Song Contest with "Boom-Bang-A-Bang"
which reached Number 2 in the UK charts.
Lulu is still as popular today, achieving
cult status in the hit comedy series "Absolutely
Fabulous", and featuring in the Number
One hit single "Relight My Fire"
in 1993 alongside the internationally famous
boy-group Take That.
Now Maxine Mazumder brings you the very
essence of a "live" LULU concert.
She first appeared on Granada TV's "Stars
In Their Eyes" in 1997 as a Lulu look-a-like
and sound-a-like, winning her heat and going
forward to the "live" Grand Final.
Following her success, Maxine has gone from
strength to strength, taking her SUPERB
performance across the UK.
